In 2017, Dr. Boyd started his own practice Trifecta Therapeutics: Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Center in Glassboro, NJ in order to better provide the Greater Philadelphia area with the best sports physical therapy and performance services. A primarily direct access provider, the clinicians at Trifecta emphasize connecting with clients through the most innovative ways, applying the most evidence based examination and treatments techniques and delivering individualized care to everyone. In 2021, due to popular demand he opened his second location.

He has presented case studies at CSM and AAOMPT national conferences and is currently working on larger studies on mindfulness with athletes and knee evaluation/treatment strategies. He has been featured on ESPN, ESPN radio, AOL and HBO for his work and expertise on injured athletes.
Our Experiences
Dr. Boyd and Cruz currently own and operate hybrid Out-Of-Network (OON) and cash-based practices. Both of whom were therapists for In-Network (INN) PT practices with Dr.Boyd being a director of a INN clinic at one time. Dr.Cruz started his practice within a gym and quickly grew it to a stand-alone facility and is now onto his second location. Dr.Boyd began his practice in a lower socioeconomic and lightly dense region. He was able to double the size of his practice and staff within a year and a half and is opening his second location. So, we can honestly say we have seen the gamut when it comes to what financial route you would like to explore. Understanding your style of practice, your training, your area and your competition will help you make the most difficult decision so much easier.
With over 300 5 star reviews on Google and Facebook between Dr. Boyd’s and Dr.Cruz’s clinic (more than any other PT consulting groups) we have proven that we have created a superior experience for our clients without sacrificing constant growth.
